Who We Are

Fernbank Museum of Natural History is the premier natural history museum in the Southeast, located adjacent to Fernbank Forest - 75 acres of old-growth urban forest in Atlanta's Druid Hills neighborhood. The museum features permanent and traveling exhibitions including Giant Screen Films, dynamic programming for all ages, and WildWoods outdoor adventure programs. The signature 'Giants of the Mesozoic' exhibition features among the largest dinosaur specimens ever found. Fernbank's NatureQuest children's exploration gallery and seasonal Friday Night Jazz series make it a year-round community destination.
