Who We Are
The East Lake Foundation is the visionary nonprofit behind one of America's most celebrated community turnarounds. Through its 'cradle-to-college' model, it coordinates partner organizations including Drew Charter School, East Lake Family YMCA, The First Tee, Sheltering Arms, and Start:ME to holistically lift the entire East Lake neighborhood. The East Lake model is the national prototype for Purpose Built Communities, now replicated across the country. Programs serve children, families, and seniors with education, housing, health, and economic development services.
