Who We Are
Founded in 1966 as the DeKalb Humane Society (renamed PAWS Atlanta in 2004), this is Georgia's oldest no-kill animal shelter. PAWS operates fully on donations without government support. Services include dog and cat adoptions, fostering, individual and group volunteering, a low-cost public vaccine clinic, a pet food bank, discount preventatives, a community cat program, and PAWS University educational workshops. Open daily 10am-5pm.
