Park Pride
Who We Are
Founded in 1989, Park Pride is the only Atlanta-based nonprofit that provides programs and leadership to help communities realize their dreams for neighborhood parks. Working with 130+ local Friends of the Park groups across 200+ greenspaces, Park Pride engages communities through volunteer workdays, park visioning processes, capital improvement grants, community garden support, and leadership training. Park Pride hosts the largest parks conference in the Southeast. Park Pride advocates for equitable access to quality parks through its Parks for All campaign - a critical issue as nearly 25% of Atlanta residents lack easy access to local parks.
