Atlanta Botanical Garden
Who We Are
Incorporated in 1976, the Atlanta Botanical Garden is a 30-acre world-class botanical garden located adjacent to Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta. Its mission is to develop and maintain plant collections for display, education, conservation, research, and enjoyment. The Garden's Southeastern Center for Conservation is a national leader in plant conservation, focusing on habitat restoration, conservation genetics, pollinator surveys, and a conservation seed bank for rare and endangered species. Programs include adult and youth education, horticultural therapy, major art exhibitions (Chihuly 2016, Origami 2024), and the beloved Garden Lights Holiday Nights event. The Garden also has a satellite campus in Gainesville, GA.
