Georgia Conservancy
Who We Are
Founded in 1967, the Georgia Conservancy is Georgia's oldest and most established statewide conservation organization. A donor-supported, nonpartisan nonprofit, the Conservancy protects Georgia's natural resources through land conservation, environmental advocacy, coastal protection, sustainable growth, and outdoor stewardship. Active at the Georgia State Capitol every day of the legislative session, the Conservancy has played a decisive role in protecting Cumberland Island National Seashore, the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, and other iconic Georgia landscapes. Vision: 'A Georgia where all people and the environment thrive.'
