High Museum of Art
Who We Are
The High Museum of Art, founded in 1905 and located in Midtown Atlanta, is the largest art museum in the Southeastern United States. Its 312,000-square-foot Renzo Piano-designed campus houses a comprehensive collection of more than 20,000 works, with special strengths in 19th- and 20th-century American decorative arts, folk and self-taught art, modern and contemporary art, and photography. A division of the Woodruff Arts Center, the High is known for blockbuster international exhibitions alongside its rich permanent collection. Its culture-focused Friday night programming, docent tours, and family programs make it a year-round destination.
